Experienced winger who joined the Pitmen from league rivals Stourbridge in June 2017

A player who started his career at Sutton Coldfield Town, Dodd forced his way into the first team picture during the 2006-2007 season and played a number of games for the Royals as a teenager in defence and midfield. his form for Sutton caught the eye of a number of sides higher up in the football pyramid, with Worcester City taking a punt on the youngster in July 2008

A frustrating season at St. Georges Lane saw Dodd in and out of the Worcester side that struggled in Conference South, finishing sixteenth at the end of the campaign. Dodd was one of six players released in April 2009, with manager Richard Dryden citing the player's inconsistency as a factor

In July 2009, after a period on trial, Dodd joined Worcester's local rivals Halesowen Town on a free transfer. However, he failed to settle at the Grove and left in January 2010 to rejoin Sutton Coldfield

The Royals finished a strong sixth in Dodd's first season back at Coles Lane, but finished mid-table in the Evo-Stik Division One South the following season. In March 2012, Southern Premier League side Leamington snapped the player up in a deal that was extended further in the summer

Dodd's career was to flourish at Leamington, as he made over 120 appearances for the Brakes over four seasons; Leamington were promoted to Conference North as Champions of the Southern League in 2012-2013, joining the Pitmen in Skrill North the following season. Two seasons of struggle followed for Paul Holleran's men, with Dodd leaving unexpectedly in March 2015 to join Stourbridge

In two seasons at the Amblecote, Dodd was a consistent performer, weighing with important goals as Gary Hackett's team edged closer to promotion to step two. he was part of the Stour side that knocked League One side Northampton Town out of the F.A. Cup in December 2016, and also played in the Third Round defeat to Wycombe Wanderers in January 2017

After finishing the season in the play-offs, Stourbridge were beaten by Spennymoor Town in the play-off semi-final, with Dodd departing Stourbridge after a successful two years to join the Pitmen during the close season
